The business of real estate has changed quite a bit since I originally got my license way back when all of my hair was black. When I first started the contract was called a D.R.O.A. and was only one page. I even used a type writer and carbon paper. The MLS was a book with all of the listings and was my bible. Luckily, the age of the internet, personal computers and cell phones was about to explode into today’s age of information at your fingertips. Buyers and sellers can now search versions of the MLS through sites like Zillow, Trulia, REALTOR.com and various other portals. This is great, but the human equation will never be taken out of the process of buying and selling a property. Especially a Maui property. Maui is a small island with many different variables that you just can’t get from a website. Having an experienced REALTOR working for you will only increase your odds of having a successful transaction. The following picture contains all of my sales experience since I first became a REALTOR. What it does not show is all of the open houses, mailings, and hours of study I’ve been doing to become the agent I am today.
I would love to add your next real estate transaction to my list of sold properties, either as a buyer or a seller. Let’s have a chat to see if we are a match.
