The reason why I’m a South Maui REALTOR® is because of the weather, beaches and golf courses. On any given day the weather report for this part of South Maui is usually sunny skies with temperatures in the 80’s. Not bad huh? Most of the beaches on the South Maui coast are easily accessible and are calm when it comes to the waves. Kamaole Beach Park I, II, & III have large grassy areas perfect for picnics and more importantly, lifeguards. South Maui also has some great world class golf courses to play. Elleair, The Wailea Blue, Emerald, & Gold, and Makena North offers golfers challenges no matter what your true handicap happens to be. My favorite part of South Maui is a stretch of land in South Kihei that starts at the north end of Kamaole Beach Park I and ends at the world famous Keawakapu Beach. This area has many opportunities to own Maui real estate. Of the 21 vacation rentable resorts in this 1.3 mile section of South Kihei, Maui Banyan, Kamaole Sands, Maui Kamaole, The Mana Kai Resort, and The Royal Mauian are my favorites. If you are looking for a residential condominium, Ke Alii Ocean Villas and Keonekai Villages are both just blocks away from the beach and have a varied price range. This section of South Kihei offers several distinct neighborhoods that range from homes built in the 1980’s to the more recent homes built last year at Moana Estates.
Maui Meadows is a fantastic neighborhood just above the Piilani Highway in South Maui. The Maui Meadows neighborhood feature lot sizes of ½ an acre or more, mature landscaping, larger homes with ohana’s, and some homes have fantastic ocean views. Maui Meadows is one of South Kihei’s most sought after neighborhoods.
South Maui’s Beverly Hills area is known as Wailea and Makena. This resort area of South Maui is home to some of the most exquisite hotels Maui has to offer such as The Grand Wailea, The Four Seasons Wailea and The Kea Lani. Some of the more popular vacation rental condos such as The Palms, Wailea Point, Wailea Elua and Makena Surf are also located in the area. The neighborhoods of Wailea Fairway Estates, Wailea Kai, Wailea Kialoa, Wailea Pualani Estates, Wailea Golf Estates, Wailea Golf Vistas, Wailea Highlands, Maluhia at Wailea, Keahou at Makena and One Palauaea Bay are private gated communities that exude luxury and excellence. When you are looking for prestige in an address, Wailea & Makena are THE areas to call home.
