The main things home owners want to know is how much is my property worth and how the market is doing. Since Maui is a vacation destination with world wide demand, our market usually lags behind the mainland by about six months. I've seen articles that homes in San Francisco as selling at highly reduced prices from just a few years ago. The example I saw was a home in Russian Hill sold for half of it's asking price of $18,000,000 in November of 2023 and it was purchased in 2020 for $20,000,000. Of course this example is an extreme one as San Francisco is not Maui! This brings me back to how is the market and how much is my property worth:
