Maui Real Estate: March 31st

This past week was holy week. The vacationers are still here as the beaches were packed along with some of my favorite restaurants and coffee houses. Easter usually indicates the end of high season for Maui, especially as the mainland warms up.

With regard to Maui's real estate market, price reductions continue to be the norm. New listings are starting to come to market at list prices slightly lower than pre high season. Buyers seem to be more cautious as they suspect interest rates might come down and they are waiting to see how sellers will react to the recent NAR settlement.

I personally don't think the settlement will affect prices too much here on Maui. We've always had some of the highest prices in Hawaii because, well Maui No Ka Oi. Let's see how the market did this past week:

As always, should you have questions about the market, a specific neighborhood or condominium complex, please get in touch with me. Enjoy your Easter Sunday.
