I said it two weeks ago and last week. The big boys are in town. Maybe it coincides with the person who won over a billion dollars in the lottery this past week. The big boys & girls are here buying and selling their properties. Swanky properties are being sold.

53 single family homes are on the market in South Maui. List prices range from $720,000 to $22,500,000. Median list price is $1,999,999. 76 Condominiums are active on the market ranging in price from $425,000 to $18,000,000. Median price is $900,000. 15 parcels of land round out the South Maui market. Prices range from $990,000 to $18,500,000. Median price is $3,950,000.

 

And Maui As A Whole

New escrows were up sharply this past week 44 versus 35 from the week before. Total pending properties overall went up from the week before while active inventory in condos increased and single family homes were the hot sellers this past week.


Total Active Listings (Res, Condo, Land) this week is 551 versus 543 last week across the whole MLS, an increase of 8 units and total pending properties (Res, Condo, Land) is 364 versus 355 last week, an increase of 9 from the week before.


There were 28 price changes in the last 7 days and 27 of those were price decreases.


There were 54 new listings (Res, Condo, Land) this past week and 5 have gone pending within the first week of listing.


44 new escrows this past week on Maui in the markets I track. 22 Condos, 19 homes, and 3 land parcels.
