
Mabuhay everyone! Obviously that isn't a picture of Maui. I've been away with family in the Philippines. If you didn't know, that is where my wife is from. We were out in the boonies, it rained most of the time and internet was spotty at best. Recharging the batteries is a must in life. It's good to be home on Maui.
Since I've been gone, we have a new President, we had one hell of a storm hit the islands and the Philadelphia Eagles are the Super Bowl Champions. One thing has stayed relatively the same. Maui's real estate market. Before I left we had price reductions galore, new listings coming on at high season pricing and slight movement with pending and sold properties. A month and a half later, things are still the same. In general average sales prices are up by about a percent, days on market have increased and price reductions seem to be leading the way in terms of activity.
